Plans, and what the AI actually costs

Four plans, billed monthly or yearly, shown here exactly as they appear in Settings → Subscription. AI usage is metered separately from the seat price, because a flat “AI included” number is either padded or capped — and both are worse than telling you the rate.

Plans

Billed monthly or yearly. The same plans and prices appear in Settings → Subscription inside the product.

Two meters, and it matters which is which

Everything on this page reduces to the difference between paying for the workspace and paying for the work the agent does inside it.

  • The seat price — Covers the workspace: the deal rooms, the documents, the clause-level negotiation, signatures and the agreement history. Charged per plan, monthly or yearly.
  • Included AI credits — Each paid plan includes a credit allotment for agent runs. They cover normal use; the plan grid above states the amount for each tier.
  • Pay-as-you-go beyond them — Past the included credits, AI usage is prepaid and metered. Nothing stops working and nothing silently upgrades you to a higher plan.
  • A daily token ceiling — Each plan carries a daily token limit as a runaway guard, stated in the plan grid. It is a safety rail against a loop, not a usage quota to manage.

Seat price versus metered usage

If you are modelling a budget, this is the split that decides the number.

  • Covered by the seat price: Chat deal rooms and document storage within the plan allowance
  • Covered by the seat price: Clause-level negotiation and redlining
  • Covered by the seat price: E-signature and the tamper-evident agreement history
  • Covered by the seat price: Mandates, clause gates and the autonomy settings
  • Covered by the seat price: Workflow routing and approvals
  • Metered as AI usage: Drafting a document from an approved position
  • Metered as AI usage: Answering a counter-position clause by clause
  • Metered as AI usage: Agent runs started over the Model Context Protocol surface
  • Metered as AI usage: Summarising or reviewing an inbound third-party contract

What we do not charge for

Pricing questions are usually about the things a platform charges extra for once you are committed.

  • Per-agreement fees: No charge per agreement created
  • Per-agreement fees: No charge per signature or per signatory
  • Per-agreement fees: No charge per counterparty invited to a room
  • Participation: Counterparties do not need a paid seat to negotiate or sign
  • Participation: Internal reviewers brought in for one clause do not need their own plan
  • Setup: No implementation fee to write a mandate or configure clause gates
  • Setup: No model training step to pay for before a first run

Questions about pricing

  • Is the free plan a trial? No, it is a plan. It carries one team member and a smaller storage and API allowance, and its AI usage is prepaid rather than included. There is no card required and no expiry date.
  • What happens when the included AI credits run out? Usage continues against prepaid pay-as-you-go credit. You are not upgraded to a higher plan automatically and agent runs do not stop mid-negotiation.
  • Are these the prices we will actually be charged? Yes. The grid on this page is rendered from the same plan catalog as the subscription screen inside the product, so the two cannot drift apart.
  • How does yearly billing compare to monthly? Yearly is billed as ten months of the monthly price on the standard and pro plans. Switch the toggle on the grid above to see both figures.
  • What is in enterprise that is not in pro? Unlimited seats, storage and API calls, a per-organisation AI credit allotment, 24/7 support, a dedicated account manager and an SLA. Pricing is per organisation, so it is a conversation rather than a number.
